About Our Team

Rachel and Lara started Heisler Rosenfeld LLP in 2020 because their families were what was most important to them, and they shared a common goal of wanting to assist and support other individuals and families who felt the same way. Lisa Zaragoza joined the partnership in March 2024 after the three women recognized that not only did they collaborate successfully, but they had shared values and similar goals.

Heisler Rosenfeld Zaragoza LLP stands for zealous client advocacy and compassion. The Heisler Rosenfeld Zaragoza LLP team consists of legal professionals who share the core values on which the firm was built. The firm is well-rounded, handling all aspects of estate and probate law from proactive estate planning to conservatorships and guardianships.

wendy@hrz.law

Wendy began working at a law firm in Oakland in 2000 that specialized in estate planning while attending college. This area of the law was so intriguing to her that after graduating from California State University, Hayward with a B.S. in 2001, she enrolled in the paralegal certificate program.  Wendy obtained her ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate in 2004 and began working as a paralegal.

Wendy enjoys this area of the law, and meeting clients of all ages and backgrounds, learning about them, and how she can best assist them through the process.  For some clients this can be a difficult stage in their lives, and showing them that they can depend on our office to help them is fulfilling to her.

Originally from Alameda, Wendy now lives in Castro Valley. Wendy’s daughter is attending University Alabama, Roll Tide! Her son is attending high school and is active in sports. On the weekends you can find Wendy on a track or on a court cheering for her son.
